A structured internship and mentorship programme designed to equip Zambian graduates with the practical skills they need to thrive in tech.
We are proud to announce the launch of the Digivort Talent Nurturing Programme β a structured internship and mentorship initiative developed in partnership with leading Zambian universities.
The programme addresses a problem we see constantly: graduates leave university with strong theoretical foundations but limited practical exposure to how software is actually built, deployed, and maintained in a business environment.
What the Programme Offers
- Hands-on project work β interns contribute to real client projects from day one
- Structured mentorship β each intern is paired with a senior engineer or specialist
- Rotational exposure β interns rotate through engineering, QA, and support roles
- Certification support β funding for relevant industry certifications
- Clear progression path β from intern to trainee to junior officer
The Structure
The programme follows our internal career ladder, giving interns a clear view of where they can go:
- Intern (current students)
- Trainee (recent graduates, 6β12 months)
- Assistant / Assistant Officer (entry-level full-time)
- Officer β Senior Officer β Management
Partner Universities
We are actively engaging with the following institutions:
- University of Zambia (UNZA)
- Copperbelt University (CBU)
- Mulungushi University
- Zambia ICT College
- National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA)
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through our careers portal. Visit careers.digivortlimited.org to register and submit your CV.
We are especially interested in candidates with:
- Strong foundational programming skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in collaborative teams
- Genuine interest in building technology for Africa
Our goal isn't just to fill positions. It's to build the next generation of Zambian technologists β people who will go on to lead teams, start companies, and solve problems we haven't even imagined yet.
If you're a student or recent graduate interested in technology, we'd love to hear from you.
